Hagerstrom: Know Your County Convention Rules To Stop Establishment Tricks Against Trump

In an email Monday night, Donald Trump's Michigan State Director Scott Hagerstrom gives a list of things to watch out for at tonight's County Conventions.

Here is part of that email:

"Things to know and watch out for:

-Don't let the temporary chair vote on any rules. The only purpose of the temporary chair is to oversee the election of the permanent chair, nothing else.

-If the chair is not calling fair voice votes, immediately call for DIVISION and do a credentials vote or a secret ballot. You're always better doing a secret ballot.

-Do not permit the chair to limit debate or to stop amending a slate unless you have 2/3 of the delegates agree to “call the question” or vote on the final slate. Know exactly how many delegates are in your caucus and know what that 2/3 number is. Never allow the chair to make a voice vote judgment call on a vote that requires 2/3. Call DIVISION if this happens. ALWAYS do a standing vote or a secret ballot. Have one of our people verify the count.

-If the chair refuses to acknowledge any call for division, you can remove the chair by making a motion to “Suspend the Rules,"  and vote to replace the chair.

-After you vote on your final slate or list of delegates and before you start on the alternates, TAKE A PHOTO OF THE LIST OF DELEGATES. Do the same with the NUMERICAL list of alternates. Do not let that list out of your sight until you get a photo of it.

-Video and/or audio record your sub-caucus. If we are going to make credential claims, we must have proof and evidence. Do not be intimidated by a bully chair, you have every right to record the caucus.

Thank you for your support of Donald Trump. Together, we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!
