Bill Schuette has finally accepted an invitation to debate, but it will cost you $200 and a trip to Mackinac.

Schuette agreed to the Detroit Regional Chamber's invite to a debate with the top three candidates in both parties.

The event will take place at the Mackinac Policy Conference at the end of May.

The debate will be a Chamber fundraiser and cost attendees at least $200...

Schuette will share the stage with Lt. Governor Calley and State Sen. Patrick Colbeck on the Republican side, as well as businessman Shri Thanedar, former Senator Gretchen Whitmer, and former Detroit public health leader Abdul El Sayed on the Dem side.

Schuette dismissed debates hosted by local chambers and grassroots groups as "gimmicks," but the elitist party on Mackinac full of lobbyists, special interests, and Dems is perfectly cool! Seems legit.

Grassroots conservatives should be absolutely pissed.
